CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE (COPD) SEVERITY AND RIGHT HEART STATUS AMONG PATIENTS ATTENDING A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL

ABSTRACT:

COPD trend is rising and lungs diseases its threatening complications is a health care challenge. Objective- Among COPD patients to assess the severity and based on Spirometry findings classify them and with Echocardiography, assess the right heart status among the patients under study. Materials and Methods- In this study 120 patients were selected and all the findings of this coss sectional study were entered in excel sheets. Study was conducted in Victoria Hospital Bahawlpur from jan 2017_ dec 2018. Results- According to this study there was a direct relation found between right heart status and COPD
