The basic aim of the study is to analyze the risk factors and management of preeclampsia and eclampsia patients. This cross sectional study was conducted at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore during March 2019 to September 2019. For this purpose we collected the data from 100 female participants. We collected the demographic data as well as family history of participants. Data was gathered using a pre-tested questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered to both cases and controls by the first author. We collected the data from 100 participants. In this study, the mean age of cases and controls were 24.4 ± 4.2 years and 23.9 ± 3.6 years respectively. In bivariate analysis nulliparity, primigravida, twin pregnancy, bad obstetrics history and history of abortion were not significantly associated with development of PE. It is concluded that those who have been diagnosed with severe preeclampsia are more likely to experience recurrence in their next pregnancy; however, the phenotype is typically less severe, with presentation approximately 2–3 weeks later in gestation.
