AN ASSESSMENT OF THE AFFECTING FACTORS OF MEDICAL STUDENTS’ COMPETENCIES ABOUT USAGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE FOR AN EFFECTIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

ABSTRACT:

Objectives: This learning was completed to entrance the issue disturbing the competencies of the limited medical student concerning applying of English in medical college. Methodology: We conducted this research at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore from February to August 2017. A feedback form was circulated in student of the 1st year subsequent to 1st component. They were asking to respond the question known in survey. Result: Parent of twenty percent of the learner is a doctor. Twenty percent of the student had completed A levels and O levels. Eighty percent of the student has completed F.S.C. No official examination is taken for the limited student before admittance in medical colleges. Six percent of student approved IELTS for disappearing to abroad. Sixty-five percent are unconscious of the significance of English in the Medical ground. Conclusion: Step must be taken to evaluate as fine as to get the better capability of the limited student in English. Keyword: English, Medical Student, Limited, IELTS
