TITLE:

THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF MONITORING AND IMPROVING QUALITY AND REDUCING VARIATION IN OBSTETRICS

AUTHORS:

Dr Ahsan Saeed, Dr Fatima Azmat, Dr. Muhammad Tauqeer Razzaq

ABSTRACT:

The nature of obstetric care generally fluctuates and racial and ethnic differences in obstetric and perinatal outcomes continue. Developing evidence suggests that the nature of care adds to racial and ethnic aberrations in obstetrical and perinatal outcomes. Quality measures should be used to monitor and reduce racial/ethnic incongruities in obstetrics. The current research was conducted at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore from April 2017 to March 2018. Key Words: Obstetrical, perinatal outcomes, racial and ethnic, ethnic differences, monitor.
