ABSTRACT:

Background: Blood transfusions in thalassemia cases might disturb thyroid gland. Objective: The objective of our current research was to regulate occurrence of hypothyroidism in cases of Beta Thalassemia getting blood transfusion. Methodology: Research Strategy: Cross sectional examination. Spot and Duration of Study: Department of Pathology, Mayo Hospital, Lahore Pakistan from March to September 2018. A total of one hundred ten sufferers with beta thalassemia critical, developed 6 to 19 years were peddled in this examination. Blood test used to be pulled in the Pathology Department.
