NANOCHEMISTRY: A REVIEW

Nanotechnology, shortened to ''Nanotech'', is the study of manipulating matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Generally nanotechnology deals with structures sized between 1 to 100 nm and involve developing materials or tools within that size. For comparision ''10 nanometers is 1000 times'' smaller than the diameter of a human hair. Nanotechnology has the capacity to improve the capability to prevent, detect, and remove environmentally containants in air, water, and soil in a cost effective and environmentally friendly manner. Nanoscience and nanotechnologies are revolutionizing the understanding of concern and are likely to have profound implications for all sectors of the economy, including agriculture and food, energy production and efficiency, the automotive industry, cosmetics, medical appliances and drugs, household appliances, computers and arm.
