Abstract :

Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) is a critical complication in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) that significantly impacts morbidity and mortality. Early identification of predictive factors for ICH is essential for optimizing patient management and improving clinical outcomes. This article critically analyzes the factors influencing the development of ICH in TBI patients, focusing on patient-specific characteristics, injury-related parameters, imaging findings, and laboratory indicators. The review evaluates existing predictive models and scoring systems, highlighting their clinical relevance, strengths, and limitations. By integrating the latest research, this analysis underscores the importance of predictive factors in early diagnosis, timely interventions, and resource allocation. It also identifies gaps in current knowledge and suggests directions for future research, particularly in the application of artificial intelligence and personalized medicine to enhance predictive accuracy. This study aims to contribute to the development of improved protocols for managing TBI patients, ultimately reducing the burden of ICH-related complications in healthcare settings.
