Abstract :

A Andrographis paniculata candy was formulated using Andrographis paniculata extract, sugar, and other excipients. The candy was evaluated for its physicochemical properties, phytochemical content, and antimicrobial activity. The results showed that the candy had a smooth texture, moderate hardness, and significant antimicrobial activity against various microorganisms. The candy’s phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of andrographolide, a major bioactive compound of Andrographis paniculata . This study suggests that the formulated Andrographis paniculata candy is a convenient and effective dosage form for delivering the herbal remedy.
Keywords: Andrographis paniculata, herbal candy, phytochemical analysis.
