Abstract :
This study aims to evaluate the mental and physical health of college students in Tamil Nadu, focusing on their awareness and perceptions regarding these aspects. It explores the impact of academic pressure, social challenges, and lifestyle choices on students’ well-being. The research surveys students across various institutions to assess common mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and stress. Additionally, it examines the availability of resources and support systems for mental and physical health on campuses. The study also identifies gaps in students’ knowledge about healthy practices and coping mechanisms. Findings will provide insights for enhancing wellness programs and support networks in colleges. Ultimately, the study seeks to promote better awareness and improve student health outcomes in Tamil Nadu colleges. This study evaluates the mental and physical health of college students in Tamil Nadu, focusing on their awareness of health issues. It examines the impact of academic stress, lifestyle, and available support systems. The research identifies gaps in students’ knowledge of health practices and coping mechanisms. Findings aim to improve wellness programs and student support in colleges.
