A STUDY ON HERBAL REMEDIES USED IN THE TREATMENT OF ECZEMA

Abstract :

The chronic, inflammatory skin condition known as atopic eczema (AE) typically first appears in early childhood. Although the origins of AE are still unknown despite much research, they are most likely complex. Disease progression appears to be significantly influenced by environmental variables or genetic-environmental interactions. The efficiency, security, This article looks at the fundamental workings of a number of herbal remedies for eczema. Numerous herbs, such as calendula, licorice, aloe vera, chamomile, and turmeric, have been studied for their anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, and immune-modulating properties.
These herbs have shown promise in reducing the dryness, inflammation, and itching of eczema-related skin conditions. The primary component of turmeric, curcumin, has potent antioxidant qualities, while chamomile and aloe vera are well known for their relaxing and anti-inflammatory qualities. has the ability to reduce inflammation. It has also been demonstrated that calendula and licorice root enhance skin healing and reduce inflammation.
