Abstract :

This study evaluates the therapeutic potential of the ethanolic extract of Phyllanthus emblica (Amla) leaves via specific in vitro profiles. Phytochemical investigations revealed a rich presence of bioactive polyphenols, flavonoids, and tannins. Anti-inflammatory activity was determined using the protein denaturation inhibition method, antidiabetic efficacy was evaluated via an α-amylase inhibition assay, and anticancer potential was assessed using a standard colorimetric cell viability (MTT) assay. The extract demonstrated substantial concentration-dependent inhibition across all models, confirming its potential as a natural multi-target therapeutic agent.
