Abstract :

The present study was to investigate the immunomodulatory activity of hydroalcholic extract of Oxalis corniculateleaves in experimental model of immunity ie.,, Total Leukocyte Count(TLC), Differential Leukocyte Count (DLC) Delayed Type Hypersensitivity (DTH) and Humoral Antibody Titre (HA). The hydroalcholic extract of Oxalis corniculatein two different doses 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg was tested for their immunomodulatory action, out of which the higher dose of 400 mg/kg showed statistically significant immunomodulatory activity.
Keyword: Immunity, Oxalis corniculatein, Total Leukocyte Count(TLC), Differential Leukocyte Count (DLC) Delayed Type Hypersensitivity (DTH) and Humoral Antibody Titre (HA).
