Abstract :

A response to a drug that is noxious and unintended and occurs at doses normally used in man for the prophylaxis, diagnosis or therapy of disease, or for modification of physiological function. Pharmacist can play an important role in ADR monitoring and reporting. It would be worth to assess their knowledge and behaviour in drug safety related aspects. Eighty-one pharmacists in the southern part of Kerala were consented in this study. A questionnaire was prepared to investigate the knowledge, attitude and practice of pharmacist regarding ADR reporting and distributed to the identified pharmacist.
