Abstract :
This case study looks at the role and efficacy of primary healthcare centres (PHCs) in meeting the healthcare requirements of rural populations in Washim District, Maharashtra, India. The study looks into several aspects of PHCs, including access to healthcare services, infrastructure, staffing, community engagement, and health outcomes. Data gathering methods included interviews, surveys, and observational assessments at different PHCs in rural Washim District.
The study adds important insights to the ongoing efforts to achieve equal healthcare access and improve the well-being of rural populations in Washim District.
