FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF ANTI-AGEING FACE SERUM USING TOMATO SEED OIL

Abstract :
Skin aging is a complex process influenced by oxidative stress, environmental aggressors, an d decreased collagen formation. This study describes the creation of a new anti-aging face ser um using tomato seed oil, a potent but underutilized natural component high in antioxidants, lycopene, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and vitamins A, C, and E. These bioactive components work together to neutralize free radicals, increase skin suppleness, and promote moisture retention, resulting in less fine lines and wrinkles. A stable emulsion system is used in the formulation of the serum to guarantee the best possible skin absorption and bioavailability. Its effectiveness in encouraging collagen formation, increasing hydration, and enhancing overall skin texture is confirmed by dermatological and in vitro research. Clinical experiments show a decrease in early indications of aging, an improvement in stiffness, and noticeable skin renewal. Additionally, this formulation promotes sustainability and circular beauty initiatives by using tomato seed oil, a byproduct of the food industry. This study demonstrates tomato seed oil’s potential as a breakthrough element in natural skincare, providing an eco-friendly, effective, and scientifically supported anti-aging solution. The findings pave the path for future botanical-based cosmeceutical advancements, meeting the growing need for environmentally friendly and high-performance skincare products.
