Abstract :
The term “cosmetic,” which once referred to appearance, now has a broader connotation. They concentrate on keeping the ‘appearance’ of external bodily surfaces such as skin, hair, and teeth, as well as eliminating odors with deodorization or perfume. They were also designed to be rubbed, poured, sprinkled, or sprayed on, injected into, or otherwise applied to any region of the human body in order to cleanse, beautify, promote attractiveness, or change appearance. Herbal cosmetics, also known as botanical cosmetics or Phyto-cosmetics, are personal care products that utilize herbs, plants, and other natural ingredients to promote beauty, health, and well-being. A face serum is a concentrated skincare product that penetrates active ingredients deep into the skin, addressing a variety of skin issues like aging, acne, and hyperpigmentation. Hydrate and plump the skin, eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, increase skin elasticity and firmness, brighten and level out skin tone, minimize pores and acne, and shield the skin from environmental stresses and harm. The aim of the study was to formulate and evaluate the face serum incorporated with the flaxseed.
