Abstract :
There are numerous herbal available naturally having different uses in toothpaste preparation for prevention of dental caries and gum disease. The present study revealed that herbal toothpaste is very safe does not produce any toxic and adverse reactions as compare to marketed toothpaste. Neem toothpaste will avoid oral problem.
The present work focus on the herbal toothpaste that applied to the teeth using toothbrush to clean and preserve their health. Herbal based toothpastes are used to treat various dental issues such as gingivitis, dental caries and dental plaque. Therefore, the use of herbal toothpaste had the widest scope in the further studies by the researchers to maintain the dental health.
They have active chemical components that have been shown to be antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, or desensitizing. Herbal toothpaste has these characteristics and is very secure to use.
