Abstract :

Acne is a common skin condition characterized by the clogging of hair follicles with oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria, leading to inflammation, redness, and the formation of pimples. This projects focuses on the formulation and evaluation of an anti-acne cream designed to reduce bacterial growth and alleviarte acne related symptoms. The cream incorporates a synergistic combination of natural ingredients, including jamun seed extract, beeswax, borax, liquid paraffin, rose water, tea tree oil, almond oil, and methyl paraben, Jamun seed extract is recognized for its antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, which aid in reducing acne-causing bacteria and inflammation. Beeswax and borax provide a solid base and enhance the cream’s consistency, while liquid paraffin offers emollient properties for skin hydration. Rose water, known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory effects, helps to calm irritated skin. Tea tree oil, with its proven anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, plays a key role in reducing acne-causing bacteria. Almond oil nourishes the skin, promoting healing and reducing scars, while methyl paraben serves as a preservative to ensure the cream’s stability and shelf life. This formulation aims to create an effective, natural solution for acne treatment with minimal side effects, focusing on inhibiting bacterial growth and promoting clear, healthy skin.
